Rotary Club of Farragut Foundation

 

The club’s Board of Directors took an historic step in 2019, approving the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation for the creation of the Rotary Club of Farragut Foundation, which is 501(c)(3).  PP Peggy Wilson, who for 16 years directed the very successful foundation at Pellissippi State, will be the Registered Agent.

The Articles of Incorporation also includes the officers and trustees of the foundation approved by our board.  They are all Past Presidents of our club save for one.  Here are those approved:

The Foundation is a separate legal entity from the club proper.  The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  This status offers those supporting our events through tickets sales and those making donations directly to the Foundation’s endowment to give those as tax-exempt contributions.

Goal:  To build the financial holdings of the Rotary Club of Farragut Foundation to $500,000 by April 22, 2030 (RCF’s 50th anniversary)

 Donor Recognition Program:

  • Admiral Farragut Society ($30,000 and above)
    • Qualifying Gift:  Single, cumulative or bequest of $30,000 or more.  Pledges may be paid over a five to ten-year period.
    • Recognition: Listing in the club directory and on the Foundation webpage, and an opportunity to name your designated endowment in accordance with Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus.
  • Founders Club ($10,000 - $29,999)
    • Qualifying Gift:  Single, cumulative or bequest of $10,000 - $29,999.  Pledges may be paid over a five to ten-year period.
    • Recognition: Listing in the club directory and on the Foundation webpage.
  • Anchor Chain ($1,000 - $9,999)
    • Qualifying Gift:  Single, cumulative or bequest of $1,000 - $9,999.  Pledges may be paid over a three to five-year period.
    • Recognition: Listing in the club directory and on the Foundation webpage.
  • Advocate ($250 - $999)
    • Qualifying Gift:  Single or cumulative donation of $250 - $999.
    • Recognition: Listing in the club directory and on the Foundation webpage.
