"Greatest Wild Bird" Challenge

Proceeds from the birding event activity go to the Friends of the Bear River Refuge. (Participants will have 24 hours to identify and photograph (if desired) as many species of birds as they can. You can participate as individuals or as teams. Individuals and teams with the most birds identified will be given a prize at the event closing ice cream social. Prizes will also be awarded for the best photographs (One photo only per participant.) All participants will receive a T-Shirt for the event.
Proceeds from the event sponsors go the Box Elder School District Foundation "One District, One Book" initiative to provide a beginning reading book to all beginning readers in the Box Elder School District.
In the above picture, the club presented a check to the Box Elder Education Foundation for $9,000 for the purchase of this year's book, The Mouse and the Motorcycle.
