"Greatest Wild Bird" Challenge

Participants will have 24 hours to identify and photograph (if desired) as many species of birds as they can. You can participate as individuals or as teams. Individuals and teams with the most birds identified will be given a prize at the event closing ice cream social. Prizes will also be awarded for the best photographs (One photo only per participant.) All participants will receive a T-Shirt for the event.

All proceeds fom the event sponsors go to provide a beginning reading book to all beginning readers in the Box Elder School District. Last year the club gave the Box Elder Education Foundation $9,530 for the purchase of these books

  • Bird Identification Talk - 4 pm, Friday, May 9 @ Bear RIver Bird Refuge Visitors Center at 2155 West Forest Street
  • Ice Cream Social - 3 pm, Saturday, May 10 @ Bear RIver Bird Refuge Visitors Center at 2155 West Forest Street
  • Cost: $35 for group of 4 or $10/individual or $5/child (12-18) (Maximum $35/family)
