The Village Forests Program

A Collaboration between the Village of Three Oaks and Harbor Country

The goal of the Village Forests Program is to aid Village residents in
acquiring trees for their “tree lawns” by paying for them in full and
delivering them to your home. The “tree lawn” is the space between
the sidewalk and street alongside your home. Our goal is to purchase
20 trees the first year (2022) and applications will be reviewed on a first
come first serve basis.

Residents will be responsible for planting and watering the trees,
though Rotary will assist with planting if needed. The cost of water is on
the homeowner. We suggest calling “Miss Dig” at 800-482-7171 well in
advance to locate underground utilities before digging. If you are not
physically able to plant your tree please contact us at
sj3819@aol.com.

Rotary will purchase the 2022 batch of trees in the spring and
communicate delivery times to approved applicants.
