INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

The International Committee provides Columbia Center Rotarians a way to make a difference in the world through unique service projects. International service one of five important ways that Rotarians demonstrate Service Above Self.

Each year the committee allocates money to a variety of direct grants and matching grants (pooling money with other clubs, districts, and funding sources) to address a range of needs around the globe. Projects include medical missions and equipment, water source projects, educational facilities improvements and equipment, and special purpose shelters. Our reach touches virtually every corner of the earth – from Belize to India, Mexico, and Ethiopia to the Philippines.

Committee meetings are the fourth Thursday of each month in the boardroom following the Club’s regularly scheduled lunch meeting.

Columbia Center Rotary members are welcome to visit one of our meetings and join our efforts. Participate locally and make a difference globally through international service.
