The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining membership with Columbia Center Rotary (CCR). CCR is one of six Rotary clubs in the Tri-City area. We are one of fifty-nine clubs in District 5080 which is primarily Eastern Washington and British Columbia, Canada.
CCR was chartered in 1985. Lunch meetings are held each week on Thursday from noon to 1:00 pm. Attendance at lunch meetings, involvement in committee work and fellowship with fellow Rotarians is an important part of membership in our club.
We are a working club! Columbia Center Rotarians both lead and participate in community and international service projects by providing financial assistance and giving their time and energy. To date CCR has contributed more than $2,500,000 to various projects in our community and internationally.
Membership in CCR is both an Honor and a Privilege. We encourage community-minded individuals to join our club. There is a requirement that all applicants be sponsored by a current club member. If you know of a current Columbia Center Rotarian, ask them for details. If not, we will help you find a suitable sponsor.
